The Marine Corps Veterans Direct Action Team is an organization dedicated to community service by engaging our local communities in a positive manner using the strength, discipline, leadership and motivation brought from service in the United States Marine Corps and applied as ongoing service to the community in which we live.
We provide community service by:
Producing, organizing, participating in and managing events for veterans, children (the Magnus Mud Run) and the community at large. Our most recent community event is the “Active Shooter & Terrorism Emergency Action Planning” seminar which is held at public libraries with the participation of local police departments.
Assisting and supporting other veterans organizations
Providing veterans funeral services such as pallbearers, gun carriage (Humvee & Tactical Trailer).
Providing manpower and equipment to local authorities, emergency management and/or rescue services when requested.
Providing direction and support for Marines as they leave active duty and return to their communities.
Support the local Recruiting effort and provide experienced training to prepare young men and women to be successful once they leave for boot camp.
Provide leadership and mentoring to young men and women.
Maintaining the physical and mental health of our fellow Marines.
If you are a Marine Corps veteran and would like to join or provide assistance, please contact us via : [email protected]
We require that our members maintain high physical fitness standards, operational readiness, a squared away personal appearance and dedication to the positive values we share.
The Marine Corps Veterans Direct Action Team provides an opportunity to veteran Marines to use the skills and strength they possess to continue their service to the community.
The team is a dedicated support group committed to enhancing members lives through fitness and camaraderie.
We are here to help you transition from active duty to a positive productive role in the community.
